i made these cute cotton candy cupcakes for a sugar & spice party i hosted a few weeks ago {to see more pics of the party and my candy buffet go to my party site, here}. they were really yummy, and tasted a lot like cotton candy! how to:
first i added 1 1/2 containers of blueberry yogurt to my white cake batter...
then added a little cotton candy flavoring {you can also add actual cotton candy to the batter, i just didn't have any on hand}...
the frosting was cream cheese with cotton candy flavoring {and blue food coloring gel}.
after all was said and done i rolled the edges in clear candy sprinkles & added a cotton candy topper {found on ebay}.
Can't wait to try this....My little girl is a big fan of cotton candy...this should be a big hit.Thanks for your great ideas!
