Kara.. I just made the yummiest frosting. I had to share it with the cupcake queen!

This recipe is from **Picky Palat**

20 soft caramels
1/4 cup milk
2 egg yolks
1/4 cup powdered sugar
2 sticks butter
3 cups powdered sugar

Melt caramels and milk over medium low heat, stirring constantly until melted through and smooth.
Remove from heat and let cool for 10 minutes.

combine egg yolks and 1/4 cup powdered sugar. Mix well, then add the caramel mixture. Refrigerate for a few hours, up to overnight.

Beat butter and caramel mixture together until whipped. Slowly add powdered sugar until fluffy.

** I ended up adding a little water. Picky Palate spread the frosting on the cupcakes, I pipped mine on. Mmmmm! The taste is amazing!
